Instructions
- 100 hours computer course is compulsory to all F.Y. BA / B.Com / B.Sc. students. Those students who have completed MS-CIT course Or have taken computer science as a one of the optional subjects are exempted from this course.
- For S.Y. BA/ B.Com / B.Sc students “Six month course in Environmental Science” is compulsory. There will be two theory lectures every week and associated project work. Students have to complete this course while learning in second year. Student have to submit the project work in time. There will be annual examination of this course at the end of the year (probably in February) which will be conducted by University. Students have to pay Rs. 100/- towards fees prescribed by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and Rs. 50/- as a examination fees for this course.
- Result of students who do not complete above two courses will not be declared by the University.
Rules for Admission
- Student has to complete his admission within ten days after declaration of result of qualifying examination.
- Aspirant student should remain present personally at the time of interview. )He / She has to fill up the admission form carefully after reading all Important instructions in this prospectus and admission form.
- He / She has to attach original T.C., original mark memo and three Xerox copies of each.
4)Admissions for first year will be given directly to those students who have secured more than 60% marks at H.S.C. examination. Students who have secured less than 60% marks at H.S.C. examination will get admission on merit basis according to number of available vacant seats.
Rules of reservations are applicable for admission. The quota for reservation will be as follows
- Scheduled Caste (SC) : 13%
- Scheduled Tribes (ST) : 07%
- DT/ N T 1, 2, 3 and VJ : 11%
- Other backward classes : 19%
Special Reservation:
- For students from sports & cultural activities : 2%
- For students whose parents have transferable jobs, forward of retired employee, for physically handicapped student : 5%
- Quota reserved for college management : 5%
- For open category students : 38%
Total 100%
- Seats reserved for backward class communities, if not filled within the given period for admission, shall be converted into open category seats.
- Students with bad record in respect of behavior, studies, examination performances, discipline and regularity shall not be admitted.
- Student must pay all fees including practical fees and other charges at the time of admission.
- The subject combination, which is once opted by the student, will remain final. No change in this respect will be allowed under any circumstances once the admission is finalized.
- The students should retain all the receipts towards the payment and he / she has to produce them as and when required. Refund of fees or other such amounts shall not be paid unless the receipts are produced.
- The Principal has discretionary powers to make any changes in the rules of admission within the framework of the rules laid down by the University and Government of Maharashtra.
- Admissions given by the college is initially on the provisional basis and it will be considered final only after the approval of the University.
Qualification For Admission
According to circular S.A.D./N.P/58/1991-92 of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, the students seeking admission to First year should possess one of the following qualification:
- Should have passed P.U.C./P.D. or H.S.C. examination or any other equivalent examination.
OR
- Should have passed Diploma in Education (D.Ed) examination with English as one of the subjects.
OR
- Should have passed three years course of diploma in Engineering of Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education.
- Should have passed Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) Examination which is approved by Government of Maharashtra.
- Should have passed XIIth standard MCVC with English as one of the subjects.
Eligibility Certificate
Every student seeking admission to first year has to get an eligibility certificate from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.
- Student who failed to get this certificate from University will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
- Student seeking admission to first year should apply to the University through the college at the time of admission for getting this eligibility certificate.
- The eligibility form is available in the college office. )Students should fill up this form carefully.
- Students have to pay eligibility fee of University along with other fees at the time of admission.
- Student who passed H.S.C. examination from Aurangabad & Latur Board shall pay Rs. 50/-
- Students who passed H.S.C. examination from Board other than Aurangabad Latur Board in Maharashtra State shall pay Rs. 100/-
- Students who passed H.S.C. examination from Boards out of Maharashtra State shall pay Rs. 500/-
Foreign students shall pay Rs. 2000/-
Documents For Admission in degree college :
The application form for admission shall be submitted along with the original and two true copies of following certificates:
- Transfer certificate (Leaving certificate from last attended school/college)
- Memorandum of marks of the last examinations (Mark -Memo)
- Caste certificate (If applicable) iv) Income certificate of the parent
- Eligibility certificate (for first year students)
- EBC form / PST form / SST form (Whichever is applicable) vii)Freedom fighter certificate (if applicable)
- Ex-Service men certificate (if applicable)
- Physically handicapped certificate (if applicable)
- 3 ticket size photographs.
- Attested Xerox copy of Adhar card.
- Student can obtain Identity card from library, and should collect it after 10 days of the completion of the admission, otherwise fine will be charged
xiii) If original I-card is lost, second can be obtained after paying Rs. 50/-xiv) Xerox Copy of Adhar Card must be submit along with admission form.
Fee structure (Refer Prospectus for Detailed Fees)
- Student has to pay all fees at the time of the admission.
- Student must keep all the receipts obtained towards payment of fees and should be produce whenever asked.
- Student seeking admission for compulsory computer course in first year should pay fees as per the rules of University.
- Laboratory fees for practical subjects in Arts faculty is Rs. 200/-
- Student seeking admission for Microbiology has to pay additional Rs. 200/- as a laboratory fees.
Student seeking admission for Computer Science in science faculty has to pay additional fees of Rs. 2000/- - Students of Commerce faculty has to pay additional Rs 500/- as a computer fee.
- Students of Second year B.A., B. Com. B.Sc. has to pay rupees 150/-towards
- Environmental Science Course.
- Environmental exam fees will be charged Rs. 50 for B.A., B.Com., B.Sc. Second year student.
Identity Card
- Student should always carry Identity card with self attested latest photograph. This photograph on I – card should be attested by Principal / Vice Principal of the college. Student should produce I – card when will be asked by any of the staff member of the college.
- Identity card is necessary for a student at every moment like library transaction, for scholarship, fees concession, sports, cultural or extracurricular activities & competitions, bus concession, examination, annual gathering or even for entry in the college campus.
Rules for the Library :
- Two books at a time will be issued to the students.
- Identity card is compulsory to avail the Library facility. Books will not be issued to the students without Identity cards.
- Student can retain books for one week. A fine or Rs. 1/- per day per book will be charged for delay in returning the books.
- Any attempt to damage books will be treated as misconduct and a student has to pay 1.5 times the price of the books.
- If the book is lost by student, He / She has to communicate it immediately to the Librarian and has to Pay 1.5 times the price of that book.
- A special day is allotted to each class for circulation of books.
- All the books issued to the students should be returned before commencement of annual examination.
- If the student has to retain books for the period of examination, he/she has to pay the amount 1.5 times to the price of that book as a deposit.
- All students must obtain “No dues” certificate from the library before taking transfer certificate from the college.
Attendance
- It is compulsory for students to keep minimum attendance of 75%. Students must be regular for theory lectures, practical classes & all the academic activities.
- A student who does not fulfill a minimum of 75% attendance during the academic year will not be allowed to appear for the annual examination.
- Absence, without prior permission for any single class lecture shall be regarded as absence for the whole day.
Discipline
- Self discipline is the best discipline.
- All students are expected to obey the rules & regulations currently in force to enable the smooth working of the college.
- Students are prohibited from doing anything inside or outside the college that will interfere with its orderly administration or affects its public image.
- Any outside influence (Political or any other) is strictly prohibited into the college campus directly or indirectly.
- Students resorting to unfair means at the examination will be dealt with Government of Maharashtra Act No. XXXI of 1982 & Maharashtra university Act 1994.
- Use of mobile is strictly prohibited in class rooms, laboratories & college campus.
- Smoking and tobacco chewing is strictly prohibited in the college campus.
